Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination, SCRA, To the “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069″

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination (SCRA), 2010 on 19.12.2010 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways.

Special Class Railway Apprentices’ Examination :
Essential Qualification & Experience : First or second division, The intermediate or equivalent examination (10+2) of a University /Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
Age Limit : Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 1st August, 2010. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

Applications compelete in all respect must reach the “Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 27.09.2010. (04.10.2010 for the candidates from far – flung.
Fees : Stamp fees Rs. 50/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only for the candidates applyin through Offline method (SC/ST/PH/Female candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee)). Those applying thru Online method, required to pay Rs. 25/- in any branch of SBI by cash or by using Netbanking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card.

Last Date of Application Submission : 27.09.2010. (04.10.2010 for the candidates from far – flung areas / abroad).
